Writing a Postcard

Task 1. WB: Exercise 1, page 89. Read, look and draw lines. (Прочитай, проглянь та сполучи.)

Task 2. WB: Exercise 2, page 89. Where do they live? Write the names. Де вони живуть? Напиши імена.

Task 3. Read the postcard. Tick  the activities that Hugo and Dan do. Write H (Hugo), D (Dan) B (both).

Прочитай листівку та постав галочку навпроти виду діяльності, яким займається Hugo та Dan. Напиши H (Hugo), D (Dan) B (обидва).
Vocabulary:

Task 4. Imagine you are visiting your friend on holiday. Write a postcard to your teacher telling her about your visit. Use the examples above. (Уяви, що ти поїхав до свого друга на канікули. Напиши листівку своєму вчителю, розповідаючи про свій візит. Використовуй приклади, подані вище.)

Для того, щоб розповісти про дію, яка відбувається в даний момент, ми використовуємо Present Continuous Tense. 
(am/is/are + Verb+ing)
Щоб утворити запитання, ставимо am/is/are на початок речення.

For example:
Is he flying a plane now?
Пам'ятай, що у відповіді використовується те ж допоміжне дієслово (принцеса), що й у запитанні.

For example: 
Yes, he is. He's flying a plane.
Щоб утворити заперечення, до am/is/are додаємо not.

For example:
No, he is not. He's not flying a plane.

Task 1. SB Exercise 1, page 88 - Look at the picture. Read the sentences and stick the stickers. The stickers are in the end of the SB. (Подивись на малюнок. Прочитай речення та приклей наліпки. Зверни увагу, що наліпки знаходяться в кінці книги.)

Task 1. SB Exercise 1, pages 86-87 - Look through the words, then find them in the text and highlight them. Write down the translation. Rewrite the words into your copybooks. Learn the words. (Проглянь слова, потім знайди їх в тексті та виділи маркером. Запиши переклад. Випиши нові слова в зошит та вивчи їх.)

Давайте пригадаємо як ми розповідаємо про події які відбуваються в даний момент. 😉
Для цього нам допоможе яблучко. Розподілимо його уявно на 2 половинки. В першій половинці знаходиться Король англійської мови "to be", який має трьох доньок-принцес am, is, are, а в другій половинці знаходиться дієслово, до якого додається закінчення -ing.



Кожна принцеса має своїх друзів:
Принцеса am дружить з I.
Принцеса is дружить з he/she/it.
Принцеса are дружить з we/you/they.
