My grandma Misty lives in a little town by the sea. I like swimming, playing volleyball on the beach, riding my bike, scooter and walking in the park.

My best friend is called Sam. He lives in Italy. We usually go there by plane.

Travelling on Holidays

Task 1. Think of your holidays and answer the questions:
1. Whom do you usually visit on holidays? 
2. Where do your relatives (friends) live? 
3. Where do you go? 
4. What means of transport do you use? 
5. What is your favourite means of transport? 
6. What do you usually do on holidays?

You can use the prompts: (Ти можеш скористатися підказками):
1. I usually visit my relatives (родичі) (grandparents, granny, grandpa, aunt, uncle, cousin, godfather (хрещений батько), godmother (хрещена мама), best friend.
2. They / he/ she live/lives in a big city/ in a little town/ on a small island/ by the sea/on a farm/ in Spain/ in Italy / in France/ in Africa/ in China/ in Germany/ in Canada/ America/ in Mexico...
3. I usually go to the park/ to the restaurant/ to a cafe/ to the beach/ to the museum/ to the cinema/ to the swimming pool/ to the garden/ to the forest/ to the playground/ to the seaside ....

1. Накресли табличку. В 1 колонку під назвою "I want to measure" ("Я хочу виміряти") запиши 5 речей, які ти хочеш виміряти.

2. Вгадай довжину/висоту цього предмета та запиши в колонку під назвою "Guess column" ("Здогадка")

3. Виміряй та запиши свої результати в третій колонці під назвою "Measurement" ("Вимір").

Task 10. Get ready for the dictation. (Підготуйся до диктанту). The following steps can help you: (Наступні кроки тобі допоможуть):

1. Copy the words, that you find difficult to spell into your copybooks. (Випиши в зошит слова, які тобі складно писати.)

2. Practise writing these words: write a line of each word). (Потренуйся писати ці слова: пропиши кожне слово по рядку.)

3. Rewrite the whole text. (Перепиши текст.)

4. Ask your relatives to dictate the text for you. (Попроси рідних продиктувати тобі текст.)

5. Replace the words in the text to create your own text. Write your text down into your copybook. (Заміни слова у диктанті на схожі по смислу слова, щоб утворити власний текст. Запиши свій текст у зошит.)
For example:
Hi! My name is Anna. I like visiting my grandparents. My grandpa Sam and grandma Susy live in a small town by the sea. When we visit her, we go by bus. 
When we visit my aunt Jane, we go by train.

6. Call your classmate or create a live session via Zoom (or any other application) and dictate each other your texts. (Зв'яжись зі своїм (своєю) однокласником (однокласницею) по Zoom, Viber чи будь-яким іншим дистанційним способом, щоб продиктувати один одному свої тексти.)

7. Don't forget to upload the photo of your dictation to Padlet. (Не забудь завантажити фото свого диктанту. на https://ru.padlet.com/annaduchenko25/English25)

Writing a Postcard

Task 1. WB: Exercise 1, page 89. Read, look and draw lines. (Прочитай, проглянь та сполучи.)

Task 2. WB: Exercise 2, page 89. Where do they live? Write the names. Де вони живуть? Напиши імена.

Task 3. Read the postcard. Tick  the activities that Hugo and Dan do. Write H (Hugo), D (Dan) B (both).

Прочитай листівку та постав галочку навпроти виду діяльності, яким займається Hugo та Dan. Напиши H (Hugo), D (Dan) B (обидва).

Для того, щоб розповісти про дію, яка відбувається в даний момент, ми використовуємо Present Continuous Tense. 
(am/is/are + Verb+ing)
Щоб утворити запитання, ставимо am/is/are на початок речення.

For example:
Is he flying a plane now?
Пам'ятай, що у відповіді використовується те ж допоміжне дієслово (принцеса), що й у запитанні.

For example: 
Yes, he is. He's flying a plane.
Щоб утворити заперечення, до am/is/are додаємо not.

For example:
No, he is not. He's not flying a plane.
